SMD Shoes Successfully Completes BUREAU VERITitas Factory Audit with Outstanding Results

We are proud to announce that SMD Shoes has successfully undergone a comprehensive factory audit conducted by BUREAU VERITAS, a world-leading testing, inspection, and certification organization. The audit focused on evaluating our working conditions, social responsibility practices, and overall operational environment. We are thrilled to share that the assessment resulted in an outstanding overall compliance rate of 97.94%, reflecting our unwavering commitment to ethical manufacturing and employee welfare.

The audit meticulously examined various aspects of our factory operations, with a significant emphasis on the working environment and the well-being of our employees. The findings confirmed that our facilities meet high international standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization. Furthermore, the auditors placed great importance on direct employee engagement to gain genuine insights into the daily working experience.

As part of the process, 10 workers were randomly selected from different departments for a private interview. The interview responses were positive toward the management and the company. According to the workers’ interview, they stated that the working environment was acceptable and factory management was friendly with them. This positive direct feedback is a testament to our people-oriented culture and is a crucial component of our high score.
